It’s Wednesday, and you can expect Joan McCarter to call in and lend a hand to KITM. You know Greg Dworkin will come through, and you can rely on Armando will pitch in any time he’s needed…

How about you? Yes, you over there. Want to help? You don’t have to send money, although you can. You don’t have to record a 3-5 minute segment for David Waldman to play on the air, although you could. Really, all you have to do is play this show on your phone with the RadioPublic app!  It’s just that easy! OK, we hear it’s not so easy, but they’ll get their act together and you’ll get used to it.

Times are changing. Greg assures us the kids are alright. This generation is coming up and isn’t taking the old BS. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot of old BS waiting for them, or a lot of old BSers. It is just that they have been reading how to handle this BS since they learned how to read, and are prepared for it. Even now, voters trust Democrats to handle gun violence. In fact, voters trust Democrats to handle government. The Supreme Court sidesteps the gun debate for now. Is standing alongside the sidewalk to gun stores holding big posters of shot bodies a technique we really want to adopt? Right now support for gun control is at its highest ever.

Meanwhile the President is crazy and John Kelly wasn’t the sane one.

David and Joan agree that Clarence Thomas might be a nice starter impeachment to get our toes wet before diving right in. Joan applauds the very applaudable Daily Kos Election team, who in turn applauds Linda Belcher’s 86 point election swing in Kentucky. There is no reason for anything other than a clean Dream Act.
