Great news! Another week of Presidential Apprentice is in the can. During the weekend most of us will still get our news unfiltered from Donald, but this is your last chance to hear it straight from David Waldman—until Monday when we start all over again, probably

Rod Rosenstein and Donald Trump work on their ventriloquist act, but right now you can still see Trump’s lips moving.

David takes a deep dive into the shallow pool of Trumpcare, which is really, obviously, just a tax cut bill. That makes it hard for Republicans to explain, if they need to talk about health benefits, but easy to pass, if they don’t tell you what they are doing. They are also looking into how they might ruin things twice as long as they are now allowed.

You might be scarfing vols-au-vent, buffalo wings or even zakuski with your cocktails Saturday night, but in-between you still need something to talk about. David suggests the now combusting Saudi-Qatar rivalry, or maybe a discussion of the three prongs of the Russia investigation.  Either way, don’t expect Lynne Patton to lay out your soirée—she has a government job now.
