Monday and another week of crazy begins. Unless your kid’s school is under lockdown, then it’s delayed. Never a normal, but becoming a regular, occurrence. (My kid’s OK!)

Somebody thought they heard a shot at a Broward county school. An arriving deputy let them hear a real one. Is Donald Trump’s arm-the-teachers proposal a joke, like his running for office, or is it something we should take seriously? Georgia kills a $40 million tax break for Delta Air Lines because of 13 passengers losing their NRA discount.

David Waldman brings us KITM live weekday mornings, available as a podcast whenever your little heart desires and sometimes even as a print edition, as in this article expanding on KITM’s exploration of the nexus of collusion between Trump and Russia: Facebook.

Greg Dworkin had a busy day at the office and couldn’t call in, but did round-up a pile of punditry. There’s only a couple of things wrong with Donald Trump: what he says and what he does. Robert Mueller is interested in both of those, plus what Donald was telling others to say and do for him. Not everything Trump does is illegal. Tariffs, for instance are just stupid. Picking a fight with LaVar Ball over a provable lie is incredibly stupid.

Even more stupid: Carl Icahn haz securities fraud? Russia, Qatar, hundreds of millions of dollars, risk of war, yes, Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared is down on his luck.
