TONIGHT, at 8 PM Eastern, 7 Central, 6 Mountain and 5 Pacific, the January 6 House select committees will finally be broadcast LIVE. David Waldman and Greg Dworkin will be tuning in, probably. (David hopes to work within his existing viewing priorities.)
For you, and anyone interested in democracy, this will be must-see TV. You-Know-Who, TFG, will be definitely tuning in. After all, people will be talking about him, specifically the one subject Donald Trump has ever attended to. Sadly for the Donald, he won’t be able to catch the hearings on Fox News, as they won’t be covering reality of any sort through 2024. Trump should expect to hear a lot from Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and his top deputy Gabe Sterling, along with accounts from about half the population of Florida who were insurrecting in DC that day.
We’ll also hear from those who just knew there’d be trouble, knew the line was being crossed, and had ALL of the right intentions… along with those too stupid or insane to understand what was going on. It seems that every one of those people walked over White House doormat Mark Meadows and left big footprints. Meadows even made the time to talk to brand-new freshman crazy dimwit Marjorie Traitor Greene. These hearings might not fix everything... or anything, but you never know, right? At least the hearings won’t have Bill Barr to spin them. Bill doesn’t spin so well without White House clout.
It always helps to change the narrative. Just ask "Woke Mob Against Gun Death", who is seizing “woke” from the deplorables. For those who find guns are more important than children, would hearing what damage guns actually do to children change things? New Jersey Representative Chris Smith couldn’t be more conservative, but this is one step too far for even him. Phony solutions such as proposing putting veterans into schools just won’t cut it.

Painful as it is, we need to talk about some place other than the US. Great Britain still has a problem with its Johnson, which has only been hardening the EU lately. The French don’t know what to do and don’t care.
