Why do we only have 2 hours of KITM each morning? The Hope Hicks and Dick’s Sporting Goods stories hit after the show, and all of the good Hope and Dicks jokes were used up by this morning...

Oh well, by this morning David Waldman may have lost interest in Dicks, but he certainly hadn’t lost sight of Hope! It’s just that Republicans and Trump just keep churning out the funny stuff:

Greg Dworkin focuses us on the 10,000 important things that came up yesterday:

Donald Trump has a clear stance on guns: arm the good guys, take the guns away from the bad guys, why can’t anybody get that? Oh, they get it all right. The gun issue might seem hard to understand, but definitions are out there.

Companies are becoming more publicly left-wing on social issues because their customers want them to do that. The NRA is in the minority, even in Florida.

Just like volunteering in a soup kitchen or raising money for a new playground, owning a gun brings people closer to their community… David and Greg unroll a thread that dissects that opinion and demonstrates how gun culture parallels "wellness" culture. Gun cultural events reduce gun violence because shooters are the attendees.

Robert Mueller doesn’t need a smoking gun.

Hope Hicks was whitely lying for Trump, but she isn’t doing that anymore. We wish her well on her future endeavors. So, now the workload is divvied up among the remaining staff. Ben Carson is caught with his fingers in the pie, which is a big problem because Donald likes pie. The RNC sends Trump more money per month than Ben’s dinette set. Republicans are not just attached to Trump, they’re his customers, too.

Armando wonders why Jared Kushner even wanted a job in the White House, and why did Trump even want to hire him? Kushner’s oversea contracts are looking for leverage, and Kushner’s family business received loans after White House meetings. Jared’s father-in-law pulled the strings.

We might have to blow up some of Panama to tie up some of Trump’s loose ends.
