Kagro in the Morning

Sep 15, 2022

David Waldman and Greg Dworkin count down the days until “Talk Like a Pirate Day” (Four, arr.)

Ron DeSantis hired coyotes to transport Venezuelans out of Texas into Martha's Vineyard. Woke people are wrecked by the news, but not as much as the immigrants.

Speaking of wrecked, Putin’s army in Ukraine could use a little cheering up. Vlad should head down to the front lines like Volodymyr Zelenskyy does and show some leadership. A gesture like that could in moments brighten the outlook for millions on all sides. Another Putin ally appears to have received the complementary pillow on his flight last night.

Speaking of pillows, Mr. Pillow himself, Mike Lindell, will be suing the FBI for the return of his phone, which had everything he had on it. Mike especially misses all of the evidence linking him to various voting machine felonies in Colorado.

Speaking of nutcases, Sidney Powell warns of a “flock of cats” being mistaken for ducks, mistaking the United States Sixth Circuit for the People’s Court. A District Court judge orders insurrectionist lawyer Brad Geyer to quit talking to attorneys funded by Sidney Powell.

Speaking of election deniers, there are a whole lot of them running for election right now, and they have big plans whether they are admitting it now or not. Voting subverters are citing fraudulent documents to support legalizing voter suppression. The DOJ’s search of Jeffrey Clark’s home is linked to his and other’s false statements, conspiracy, and obstruction. The King of Election Deniers promises problems in this country the likes of which perhaps we’ve never seen before if any investigations get too close to him.

Speaking of inciting violent insurrection, the House January 6 Committee is receiving huge tranches of Secret Service material. Mark Meadows is sharing a huge trove of documents to the DOJ.

We haven’t yet spoken about the quality job President Joe Biden and the Democrats have been performing! Joe helped business and labor reached a tentative railway labor deal yesterday, averting a strike of tens of thousands of railway workers.  Joe and the team are masters of foreign policy as well. Will that translate into election wins? Maybe! The difference between the best and the worst is too close to call in this election and that difference will only tighten.
