Happy New Year! Or whatever kind of new year! The year may be
new, but most of the stories are pretty old. That is, it’s still
pretty much all pandemic and putsch. How can the
media help us get through the ongoing insurrection? Center democracy. And hurry,
please, because polling says that we may only
just barely be hanging on to a majority actually kinda down on the whole insurgency
thing, depending on how you put it.
Over at the January 6th committee, ex-convict and disgraced
NYC police commissioner Bernie Kerik has turned over what amounts to one
of two written confessions.
Fauci and the feds are still working on hammering out what WTF we’re all
supposed to do. For now, anyway, since we don’t know what’s coming next. Well, after
a whole bunch of crazy case counts, anyway. That
much we know. But will vaccination finally uncouple
case counts from death rates? How about from hospitalization? We hope
so!

Speaking of commies, they finally gave Empty Greene the boot. And
David Fahrenthold is taking his show to Broadway (where
there are theaters on both sides).
